Finally Wearing Maternity Clothes (Giveaway)

maternity poncho

I am about 22 weeks pregnant now and am finally feeling like it’s okay to wear maternity clothes. I’m thrilled I haven’t had to buy bigger sizes yet, but maternity clothes these days are so freakin’ cute and I always love a good excuse to shop. I’ve been window-shopping for maternity clothes for months so I plan on enjoying these next few months in some new stylish maternity ware.

One of my favorite places to look for cute (and unique) maternity clothes is on Etsy. If you ever need anything made…a crazy Halloween costume, a customized onesie, matching family shirts, whatever…you can find it on Etsy! While looking at all the adorable handmade maternity clothes I came across Marie Nohr’s ponchos.

Her ponchos are for pregnant ladies and nursing Mommy’s, but I think anyone could wear one. Why not? They are cute, comfortable, affordable and come in a variety of colors. It doesn’t look like a typical “maternity” top.

I sported mine with my cowgirl attire at The Farm.

It looks great at 20 weeks; I will still be able to wear it at 40 weeks and after the baby arrives.

Next time, I’ll try dressing it up a bit more. I like to pair my favorite pieces with different styles to see how many ways I can wear them.

Marie Nohr is not only a clever designer, but she is awesome and has offered to host a give away for my readers! She is going to give one poncho (her favorite: the navy and oatmeal) to one of you lucky readers. So, if you are pregnant, plan to be pregnant at some point, breastfeeding, know someone who is pregnant, love ponchos, or want to win this for someone else (that covers ALL of you, right?), then this giveaway is for you!

As you already know, I am pregnant currently. I’d definitely use it for covering up during nursing. I’d consider wearing it before the baby comes as well, but it’ll probably be too cold for it here. lol

    …and…bonus, blue’s my favorite color. 🙂

    1. the blue is REALLY cute too!
