I’ve been really “off” when it comes to blogging and writing lately. All this focusing on the new baby and my physical and mental health has put writing on the back burner, which is really unfortunate because it has been a big part of my mental healing process. Plus, I just love talking to you guys! Truth is, I haven’t been completely free of blogging. I’ve been a contributor to The Nashville Mom for a while now (two years maybe?), and most recently I did a serious on Pregnancy Fitness in Nashville.
I had the best time creating this series. I reached out to various gyms, fitness classes and even a personal trainer, told them I was pregnant and very interested in keeping fit and healthy throughout my pregnancy and sharing what I’ve learned with others. Luckily, most everyone was extremely receptive to working with me and were gracious enough to allow me into their studios for lessons and tips. I truly had a great experience with each review and would love love love for you to check them out.
I’ll just link the reviews and super short description below, let me know what you think!
This was my first personal training session ever and it was so good! Holly is someone I could hang with anytime and having someone correct my moves and create a workout specific to my needs is kind of amazing.
Okay, if you know me at all, you must know that a dance fitness class given out the Nashville ballet is a little piece of heaven for me.
Gosh, how do I briefly describe this one? It’s this crazy innovative cross between Pilates and something else that makes you really sore?? Ever heard of a Megaformer?
This was my first ever Pilates class that used the reformer machine. I do not know how or why I never took a class that used this amazing body changing machine before!?
Again, if you know me (or follow me on Instagram), you must know that I have fallen in love with prenatal yoga, which all began with this very review. Blooma classes have legit changed my life!
Spin class on steroids anyone? Ever imagine one of those crazy celebrity packed, music-driven, cycling, sweaty intense classes surrounded by big screens and coaches pushing you to your very max? That very quickly sums up CycleBar.
I actually had the pleasure of reviewing Cardio Barre not once, but twice! I’ve taken a few different types of “barre” classes, and I can confidently say that “cardio barre” is totes my fav.
Ever tried one of these? Want to? Do it! And let me know how it goes!
